Tonium Pacemaker ORDER UPDATE

Firstly, I would like to congratulate you for having a plethora of players to choose from.

A few hours ago, I ordered (AMP320090509012318) a Tonium Pacemaker (60GB). I noticed you were selling the 120GB version for only £20 more, but believed this was the slightly older one with less features etc and so didn't bother. After lots of research on the internet and with no help from the identical product descriptions on your site, I found out both models are a firmware update away from being exactly the same albeit the HDD size. I e-mailed the sales department, but after a very bad experience with them a couple of months ago (never replied to my e-mails (roughly half a dozen)), I am requesting a confirmation from some of the guys at AMP3 that this e-mail has been read and received.

PS for future reference, could you alter the product descriptions for both players (i.e. box contents, firmware, etc)

I've sent our Sales team an e-mail about this forum topic.

If the e-mail was received at their end, you should receive a confirmation out-of-office e-mail along these lines:

Dear Customer,

Thank you for contacting Advanced MP3 Players.

Your e-mail has been received and you will receive a reply within 24 hours (Monday - Friday). Please do not send duplicates of your e-mail unless you want to provide additional information. Emails received over a weekend, will be responded to within 24 hours on Monday.

Thanks for getting in touch so soon. I did receive the confirmation e-mail as you outlined, but I am feeling rather skeptic with regards to whether it will ever actually be confirmed. While ordering an S9 almost two months ago, I exchanged half a dozen e-mails and each one sent back a "confirmation e-mail", but I never got a reply. My order never got processed and I never received my player (annoying to say the least). I just want to be sure the e-mail I sent out is read, acknowledged and replied to before my order is confirmed and my bank account debited.

I hope this all makes sense.

Just realised AMP3 has no 120GB versions left. Do you know when they'll be refilling their stocks?

I need to cancel the order I made as the 60GB version does not have any included straps (necessary), charger, etc

I'm sorry to bother you like this except I sincerely have no faith in the sales dept -they seem to show no regard for international orders. I might have to re-order it when I get back to the UK.

If the shop in Edinburgh or any other places have any in stock, could you let me know. Greatly appreciated. I want it so bad!

Unfortunately I don't have any information on when the 120GB models will be back in stock on the website.

We do, however, have a 120GB version in stock here at Ocean Terminal in Edinburgh, but only have one in stock.

Would you happen to know roughly when you would be back in the UK?

That's GREAT to hear!!! -absolutely fantastic! I'm an overseas student (currently in Copenhagen), but should be back in the UK sometime on the 3 June.

HOWEVER (!!), my sister is currently at Edinburgh University and I might (kindly) ask her to get it for me. I'll get in touch with her this evening and will let you know what is happening before I go to bed tonight.

On another note, would it be possible to simply send the item via post as to avoid being in debt to my sister (. . .) ?

Just let me know if your sister can make it in, so I'll know to expect her.

I spoke with my sister last night and she said it might be a bit difficult for her to visit at the moment as she is right in the middle of the exam period. If you think it will be sold this week, could you possibly arrange for it to be sent to me; otherwise my sister should be able to make it this Saturday.
