Strange MP3 files?

Hi all,

Help needed, I have just tried to play one of my old mp3 files (from my external drive) and it looks like this "songtitle.mp3.PMS"

Anyone know what it is as it won't play with Musicmatch or any other player on my system

Don't recognise the file type, but try VLC Player, amazing freeware if your regularly encountering files types that your normal players doesn't put codecs forward for.

Hmmm, I've never heard of MP3 files developing PMS before... :lol:

Have you tried simply editing the filename and removing the .PMS extension?
