Poll From Cowon for X5 owners

Responding to a direct request from Cowon in Korea, please take a look at this poll and answer if it's applicable to you.

The results of this will determine whether it's worthwhile for Cowon to proceed with the promotion in the poll, so please answer if it's something that applies to you.

The question is:

If you own a Cowon X5/X5L, are you willing to return the device and receive £60 discount on S9 32GB purchase (£259 reduced to £199)?

I am tempted by the idea, but as my X5 is still working well, I think it is worth more than £60 to me at the moment.
Maybe a slightly larger rebate would persuade me. :-)
I really like the look of the S9, and I think I have convinced my daughter to buy one instead of an iPod Touch.
Now if it had an SDHC expansion slot...!

If it had an SDHC expansion slot it wouldnt be as small as it is, and now there's the 32GB........

With you though, the X5 is a great player :D

I thought I was in the market for a new DAP, and had settled on the S9. That was until I discovered it didn't do gapless. :(

So I'll stick with my X5/60, which does all I want: gapless* / FLAC / folder nav / excellent SQ. When Cowon get their act together and provide gapless, I'll buy.

* With Rockbox, of course!

I don't have an X5, but If Cowon were to do some kind of rebate on the D2 when buying an S9 I (and probably a lot of other people) would be very interested.

£60 for the X5, methinks is not good enough unless the S9 is £80. Only the X5 battery (see the repair section) costs £40. I bought my X5 for about £250 3 years ago and its still kicking strong. I wont give it up for anything less than £150, serious.
