New nano compatibily on new computers.

I am going travelling round the world for a year very shortly and I am considering buying the new 8gb nano to accompany me. Im an ipod virgin and need to know if I will be able to take music off computers that I happen across along the way or if I will have problems downloading tracks onto the player from these 'random' computers.

Yes you should be able to, However you must take the USB2 docking pod to connect you to the computer and it would also be best if the computer had Itunes. Although if not, you could drop and drag, so if this is what you need it for yes, the Ipod Nano.
