I want to replace my mp3 player (left my old one on a plane) with another that uses AA or AAA batteries. I travel to remote ares often and cant recharge.
i think new mp3 players already don't use AA or AAA batteries as they are only limited in power unlike Li-On and the likes. you probably could buy accessories for your mp3 player that will be something like a portable charger.
Yep - very few players now offer playback using AA/AAA batteries (and even fewer that are decent). Most new players do have decent battery life - many around 20-30 hours - but you'd probably need a mains charger as a back up if possible.
