MP3 player with Voice Recording

Since my beloved iRiver H10 has seized up (I can't load anything on to it) I need to find another MP3 player!

It must have a voice recording facility because I use it for recording accompaniments and ideally be over 4g (I only have 1g space left on my H10). I like iRiver a lot and would happily stick with them, but if the transfer of all my files is simple and there is a better brand out there, I'd be happy to try it.

If anyone has any ideas I'd really appreciate them. I'm not fussed at all about videos, photos etc. I just play, record and transfer music.

Hi Stella,

The iRiver E200 may be worth taking a look at as it's not very expensive but is still very decent. However, I'd also suggest checking out the Cowon iAudio i9 as it is a bit more powerful.

Thanks very much for your reply. Both of those seem way too flashy/powerful for me! I couldn't really imagine ever needing more than 8gb... Has the H10 actually been discontinued by iRiver or just by AdvancedMP3Players?

iRiver did unfortunately stop making the H10 about 2 years ago so it is pretty much unavailable nowadays.

However, I've found a few more players which might be closer to your requirements so hopefully one of those will do the job:
