I downloaded the firmware update from 1.02(?) to 1.05.,to my new iriver B20 (Which I just love), but since then, it will not play tracks from the "Music" section of the menu. it goes as far as the last stage but when I press the play button, it momentarily flicks into play mode and then immediately returns to the track-list. However if I go to the "Extras" section and work through "Browse Device">"Music">> then it plays the tracks ok. Originally I could go directly from the "Music" section of the menu and play any track. Can anyone point me in the right direction to a solution? Furthermore I cannot get the player to display Text from MS Word files transferred via Windows explorer.Any suggestions. Henry S.
Sounds like the music browse method has changed so if you take a look through the settings you should be able to change this back. However, as we have not stock the iRiver B20 for years we cannot provide any in-depth technical support unfortunately.
Going on memory the B20 only displayed text files - I don't think the player is capable of displaying MS Word files.
