Last Christmas, I bought the Philips GoGear HDD6320 and last month it suffered a rather brutal blow to the screen, cracking it severely. I was able to claim for the player on home and contents insurance and subsequently replaced it with the new 5.5g iPod. Today, the biggest coincidence occurred. Exactly a week after I purchased the iPod, I have managed to damage the screen(!). Is there any way I can have it replaced or repaired without going through the tiring work of claiming again? Is there a warranty or limited guarantee period from Currys where I bought it? It has only been 7 days.
