Two items I ordered on the weekend were described as "In Stock" on the web site. I duly placed an order and payment was taken.
I'm informed today that they are both awaiting stock. I checked the web site and the items are still described as "In Stock".
What's going on here? This is usually an indication to me of a retailer that I should steer well clear of. This is a despicable practice to mislead customers on stock status, particularly when payment is taken immediately. Is this common practice by AMP3? Is it a ploy to sit on customers' funds in a high-interest holding account? or has somebody internally "gazzumped" my allocated stock?
