How to rip

Hi all
Newbie, Silver Surfer here. I am having problems with tracks that keep dropping bits out when they are being replayed. I don't know if it is because they have not been ripped properly, a fault on iTunes or something else.

Up to now I have been ripping with WMP and letting iTunes convert to AAC but having had a quick browse thru some of the threads here it could be back to the drawing board. I would really appreciate some help from you experts on how to achieve 'dropless' tracks

Hi papajoe,

Why not just rip the foles into AAC directly through iTunes? It'll save you some time in the long run and might sort out your problem.
