Cowon S9 display settings

While I'm enjoying my new S9, I have two concerns.

First, I'm worried that the text on the main icon menu (music, vidio, pictures etc icons) does not light up at all. It stays, making it impossible to read. I can't find any way of increasing the font size or making it light up. The text on the other screen brightens up when screen is touched, but not the main icon screen.

Second, some of my tracks seem to need the sound boosted up to 40 (max), esp when travelling on public transport. Is there a way of oveder riding the limit?

Hi,

I'm not sure about the text issue so you might want to speak to our technical team about that. However, you can get a slight volume boost by formatting the S9 and then selecting America as the country when you turn it back on. You can also try using higher quality MP3 files as this can often help.

Unfortunately due to the EU trying to be a super power they are bringing out silly restrictions - like this volume one. In my opinion: It's my ears leave my volume alone...mind you playing the drums for over 12 years has done more damage than listing to my music lol
